How do you differentiate between Tier 1 and Tier 2? If the journal name clearly has psychology or something related to psychology IN THE TITLE (mental health, behavior) of the name of the journal, it is a psychology based journal. If I google the journal article name, and it does not speak of psychology - instead, it speaks of interdisciplinary journals or open source or speaks to a field other than psychology (like psychiatry, neuroscience, sociology, family studies), then it is a Tier 2 journal.
